New Limit for FHA and Conventional Loans: 

$506,000.     

The new loan limit for King/Snohomish/Pierce county has been raised for 2009.  This limit goes into effect on January 1st, 2009.

For any FHA loans with case numbers ordered after January 1, 2009, the down payment requirement will be increased to 3.50% rather than the current minimum of 3.00%.   For every $100,000 worth of loan someone is financing he or she will then need another $500 for the down payment.  For more info go to:
